Engage Health Systems is aware of the recently publicised PHP security vulnerability affecting certain web-facing systems. We take the security of our services and our customers’ data seriously and have taken prompt action in response to this issue.
Our response
Engage Health Systems uses PHP within its environment to support the delivery of its services. Prior to the release of the relevant security patch, our environment was running the latest available PHP version, which was subsequently identified as vulnerable to this issue.
We proactively monitored the security advisories and acted promptly once the relevant security patch became available.
The applicable security patches were applied at the earliest opportunity to affected services within our environment. Our services also benefit from security hardening measures as part of our ongoing approach to infrastructure security and service management.
Do practices need to take any action?
No action is required from your practice in relation to this infrastructure-level vulnerability.
The assessment, mitigation and patching of the affected infrastructure are managed directly by Engage Health Systems as part of our responsibility for maintaining and securing our services.
We will continue to monitor relevant security advisories and maintain appropriate security controls to help protect the availability, integrity and security of our services.
